Pond Camo - Original Painting
Pond Camo - Original Painting
Medium: Acrylic and Charcoal on Canvas (Gloss Finish)
Dimensions: 8 x 10 inches
Description:
This is the original "Pond Camo" acrylic and charcoal on canvas painting by Contemporary Wildlife and Fine Artist Nathan Goullette.
Finished with a gloss varnish this piece represents a bass in its' natural habitat, with a bit of flair, and bass (small or large mouth) happen to be one of my favorite fish to catch.
Artist's Thoughts:
It always amazes me how God created animals and how they fit into their environments so well. This especially stands out to me while bass fishing.
I’ve always imagined bass, especially large mouth, as tigers of the lake. I guess one could argue pike or muskie are more like tigers, but hey, I like to think of them as “bigger tigers” or more like pumas or leopards. You get the gist; stealthy predators, adept at hunting prey in their environments.
