Artist's Thoughts:
I grew up hearing stories of how my great grandpa and my grandpa would fish for sturgeon around the Idaho Panhandle and it's always something I've dreamed of doing.
I wanted to capture the thrill of getting a big one on the line and the tenacity and energy of an old sturgeon trying to throw the hook. There's a reason it's been around so long.
